At the age of 27, he served as the president of an A-share listed company, and was the youngest president of an A-share listed company at that time. He led the company to achieve A leap in market value from one billion to ten billion in five years, and promoted the company to the top 500 private enterprises in Guangdong Province and the top 100 private enterprises in Shenzhen.

Dr. Gerhard Hinterhaeuser served as the CEO of asset management for the Munich Re Group in Asia for 12 years. Simultaneously, he was appointed as the vice president and management committee member of PICC Asset Management. Additionally, he has extensive experience in wealth management, having served as an advisor and board director at Kieger AG, and in senior roles in private banking at the Deutsche Bank Group. He has spent considerable time in Asia, working in Tokyo as a securities analyst with Jardine Fleming Securities and Deutsche Bank, in Singapore as the head of private banking responsible for Southeast Asia at Deutsche Bank, and as the head of corporate finance at HypoVereinsbank (now UniCredit). He has worked in Hong Kong for a total of 20 years in various roles as described above.

He was the Managing Director of China Merchants Bank International Asset Management, responsible for the investment and financing of the company’s US dollar private equity projects. He once served as deputy chief marketing officer of CSOP Asset Management and led the issuance of the world’s largest RQFII ETF. In his early years at Deutsche Bank and Goldman Sachs Asia, he was involved in trading and sales across multiple asset classes. Holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management.
